Celebrating Earth Day: Eco-friendly gifts & practices at bumble B design

Offering eco-friendly gifts and products is a strong focus at bumble B design.  We look to source baskets, boxes, and bags that are made from recycled material, or sustainably harvested woods & grasses. Our Salmon Platter is made from sustainably-harvested, non-endangered acacia wood from Pacific Merchants and features wild-caught smoked salmon and other West Coast savory snacks.

Most of the boxes we use for our gift boxes are made from recycled paper; the box used for our Pacific NW Box is 100% recycled content and features all-natural and organic local Pacific NW snacks such as Theo Chocolate, Chukar Cherries , Hot Cakes Chocolate Hazelnuts, and Portlock Wild Caught Smoked Salmon.

Our Organic Piece of Mind features a reusable birch cylinder and organic, eco-friendlly products, including: Big Dipper Wax Works‘ 100% Beeswax Candle, Torie & Howard’s award-winning Organic Hard Candy, Numi Organic Tea, an organic chocolate bar from Theo Chocolate, and a Compendium Inc notepad printed with soy ink on FSC certified 100% recycled stock.

In addition to offering eco-friendly gifts, we ship our gifts with 100% biodegradable cornstarch peanuts, or clean reused packing material and boxes.   We pick up clean shipping material such as bubble wrap, packing peanuts, and shipping boxes from Seattle area residences and businesses to reuse in our gift shipments.
