Mother’s Day Gifts
Mother’s Day is coming up May 12th. It’s a special holiday for me personally, filled with the joy of being a mother and gratitude for a strong, loving family. Every Mother’s Day, my husband makes my favorite recipe for raspberry oat scones, and I always request that my teenage kids either garden or go on a run with me.
I also take delight in making Mother’s Day gifts and cards. Every mom is one-of-a-kind, so I encourage customizing gifts to suit the tastes of your stellar mama. My mom, for example, loves dark chocolate, but is picky about the type of chocolate I send her. She doesn’t like additional flavors, nuts, or heavily sweetened dark chocolate. I wouldn’t dare send her milk or white chocolate. Fran’s Chocolates is a safe bet for her along with a few other specialty chocolates we carry at bumble B design. So if you order a chocolate gift from my online store, like our Chocolate Gratitude gift box, I will most likely ask what type of chocolate I should include! Or, if you order the Mother’s Day Basket or Tote Box, I’ll ask what type of tea to include: herbal, green, white, or black. Being a calligrapher allows further gift personalization with hand-calligraphed cards. For me, the sentiment behind the gift is as important as the gift itself.
Wishing all moms a beautiful, joyous Mother’s Day!
